There is no sincerer love than the love of food.
-George Bernard Shaw
To love is to submit, to feel a sensation in the heart that nothing else can give. Falling in love with food is surely one affair that has lesser chances of giving heartache. It is one affair that shall delight you at all times and the object of your affection(the particular dish that you will be lusting after at that point of time) will completely be at your disposal when you want it.
Food is the essential flavor that drives our senses. They say- "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach."But I can vouch that the same goes for women too(provided she's lucky enough to find a man who cooks for her!)
We do live in a world driven by looks. The very same logic applies to food as well. Who will not be tempted by a dish that appeals to the eyes as much as it appeals to the taste buds.
Now I am an Indian and a Desi at heart and also at the tummy. So what gets my tongue wagging and my stomach churning is the aroma of freshly cooked Butter Chicken(the delights of non vegetarian cuisine..,I'm sure some of you really do understand what I'm feeling.)
Succulent pieces of tender boneless chicken cooked in the flavors of a thick tomato and onion based gravy. One look at this beautiful dish in a big glass bowl from BOROSIL will drive you crazy with hunger.
The magic is in this gravy. My mother makes the most mouth watering butter chicken on the planet. Her special recipe is just mind blowing. All my friends are crazy about the "Aunty Wala Butter Chicken". There are so many different notes of all the amazing Indian spices in the gravy that any food connoisseur and gourmet lover would put this great creation in his list of the topmost food inventions of all times.
There's the unmistakable flavor of ginger garlic, the hint of cardamom and bay leaf, the richness of cream ,the lil sweetness of sugar, and the tadka of red chilli. Top it up with dollops of white butter and garnish with fresh basil. As the aroma melting of butter sifts through the air and refreshes your senses..sudden pangs of hunger grow by leaps and bounds. And of course, mum cooks it with all the love that a mother can offer. Can't beat the taste of that ,can you?
Along with the taste, the presentation makes all the difference.Serve it some beautiful delicate glassware like a round transparent dish from http://www.myborosil.com/
The look will make it all the more appealing and yummmm!
Take one spoonful of the heavenly delight in your mouth with a huge chunk of chicken and feel transported to a world governed by angels of taste and flavor. As you relish it more and more with each bite, the love affair would grow into a voluntary slavery of the dish.It just takes over you, ruling the head heart and the stomach!
Long live the awesome butter chicken!!
