CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2015- MY LIST OF HITS AND MISSES!

The ongoing CANNES FILM FESTIVAL AT The French Riviera has no rival when it comes to glamour and couture statement. Its not just any film festival, Its The Cannes where leading ladies from across the Globe compete not just with their movies and acting prowess,but also with he sartorial choices. 

The stunning starts of Hollywood, Bollywood and many more film industries descended RED CARPET in some of the most dazzling outfits that sent the world media into a tizzy. I am just as star struck. 

But while there was so fantastic display of couture gowns, there were also some FAUX PAS by the stars that WE noticed.

 HITS-

 The Indian Brigade

Aishwarya Rai made her first appearance in a cool Sabyasachi floral jumpsuit and her first red carpet appearance in an Elie Saab World sheer gown, Sonam Kapoor in Ralph and Russo For the red carpet and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla  for another appearance and Katrina didn't fail to impress with her Oscar De La Ranta off shoulder gown or her second day appearance in a Eliesaabworld fiery red gown. Three cheers for our DESI DIVAS for nailing it!

 

 Cate Blanchett wore a gown from the Giles autumn/winter 2015 collection.This dress and color wowed!

 

 Fan Bingbing in Ralph & Russo Couture and Chopard jewellery. Very quaint and understated elegance.

 

 Naomi Watts in Elie Saab Couture and Bulgari jewellery.Its different in a good way. No feathers ruffled!

 

 Miranda Kerr, dressed in an Emanuel Ungaro gown.Despite a wardrobe malfunction, this beauty looked gorgeous in this pink dress!

 

 Zoe Kravitz, wearing Valentino Couture- Fresh and clean

 

 Charlize Theron in Dior Couture.Classy!

 Cheryl Fernandez-Versini wore a Ralph & Russo Couture gown with Monica Vinader rings.Absolutely breathtaking and elegant!

 

 Emma Stone wore a Christian Dior Couture gown. Cute and effective!

 

 Eva Longoria wore an Atelier Versace strapless gown with Lorraine Schwartz earrings- The evergreen stunner!

 

   Diane Kruger wore a gown by Prada with Harry Winston jewellery- Bejeweled in royalty!

MISSES

Salma Hayek wore an Alexander McQueen gown. To me, The dress looks dated and period drama types.

                

 

Sienna Miller wore a Valentino Couture. Geometricals are alright but this didn't impress as much as her previous outings.

 

 Luma Grothe.There isn't enough life or class in that outfit.

 

 Aymeline Valade in a dress by Stella McCartney. Its a Stella McCartney alright, but this will look better on a beach!

 

 Charlotte Casiraghi wore a Gucci gown.And the wear and tear shows!

 

 Erin O’Connor wore a Ralph & Russo Couture gown from the spring/summer 2014 collection with Chopard jewels. She came wrapped like this!

 

Karlie Kloss in Atelier Versace.Her modestly was at the mercy of those metallic clip ons!
